How Do I Get Started Using RSS?
The first step is to download a free Aggregator and install it on the Desktop on your computer. You can do this on our site by just clicking on the download button. (Will we have this?). If you already have one downloaded, you're a step ahead of us.
Next, pick the information sources that you want to get RSS feed from on a routine basis. Enter it into the aggregator or, if it has an automatic loader, click the button. Some sites will communicate directly with your installed aggregator. You can add and delete information sites as you see fit. If you have favorite news sources or blogs, you can select them as long as they have an RSS feed. Acquireo, which covers buying and selling businesses, can be added easily. Our RSS feeds will give you the current information on businesses for sale. It also has RSS feeds for business brokers and by categories of businesses. Once any RSS feed is selected, the feed will begin to show up automatically on your computer.
The learning curve on RSS is very short and after you have done it once, you will know all you need to know. There are also many sites on the Internet that will answer any RSS questions you may have. Once a site is found that does offer you specific information you want, you can continue to receive updates without any effort on your part. If there are multiple sites with feeds on the topic, you can compare the information. If enough facts are uncovered, a better understanding and decision is possible. Diverse topics can also be selected so the RSS feeds can be used for different needs. Information that educates and informs is invaluable to all readers and this is what the RSS feeds can provide.
